There are some projects that are just a joy to work on. These beautiful steel herons live on a riverside bank of lush green grass sheltered by stately shade trees. After many years outside, the decorative paint coating had eroded from exposure and the feet were buried in the turf. The underlying steel, cut and bent from repurposed oil tanks, was still in sound condition. We cleaned the surface, removed the flaking and degraded paint, then restored the surface decoration with modern, industrial exterior paints to ensure longevity.
